Skins Scorer

Lowest score on a hole wins the skin. If two or more tie, the skin carries over and the pot grows.

How it works

Each hole is worth one skin. The player with the outright lowest score on a hole wins it. No ties allowed. If two or more players share the lowest score, the skin carries over to the next hole and the pot grows.

This is the drama of Skins. A pot can build for three, four, five holes while nobody can win it clean. Then someone rolls in a birdie and takes everything. The value of a skin multiplies by the number of holes it carried over, so a $1 skin that carries four holes pays out $5 when it finally breaks.

Skins works best with three or four players. With two players it is straightforward. With five or six, pots can build for a long time and the round gets expensive fast.

How to use this scorer

  1. Add 2 to 6 players and set your skin value per hole.
  2. Enter each player’s gross score for the hole. Ties trigger a carryover.
  3. Watch the pot build and break. The tally shows who won what.
